Awakening your sensual fluid body.

It took me years to own my power and sensuality. I was afraid to feel amazing in my own body, to enjoy my sensual nature and to really love myself.  This practice of freely flowing my body in waves of energy opened me up to feel the joy that comes from this freedom of expression.  Now I embrace the yummy pulse of my own expressive body, safely and on my own terms.

In JourneyDance, Awakening is rekindling the fluidity of the body, finding freedom and giving yourself permission. This is the special place in the journey where your spine can undulate, pulse, stretch, and make space. Here we let go of rigidity and breathe into stuck places needing space, warmth, breath and attention. It's sensual and slightly evocative to pulse and move in table position, and it's the most amazing way to give your juicy body what it wants.

Movement suggestions for you:

- Start on your belly feeling the floor
- Wiggle gently, feel your belly and notice your spine
- Slowly find low table position with something under your knees- Begin freely moving
- Rise up to full table as you feel comfortable
- Move in circles, spirals, waves and pulses

Try Awakening! - Watch Video Below

How does that feel?  Is your body asking you to immerse more deeply into Awakening?  Can you let yourself enjoy the sensations?

Music Suggestion:
Dance of the Seven Sisters, Deya Dova

I'd like to invite you to join me to dance at one of my upcoming dance experiences.
